Touched

Friday was my first time attending a Good Friday service and I have to say it was really deep. It;s basically like attending a funeral except this person is of a higher power and is not there in the flesh. It was sort of a dramatic setting. Imagine entering a silent service with many people, but there is not a sound. You walk in and look at the front alter and all you see is black. The cross that looks over the whole congregation is draped in a black cloth. I swear this was a really touching thing. I mean I understood what it would be like, but I couldn't attach the knowledge of it all with the emotions. I think everyone should sit in at atleast one good friday service. It would do really good to your soul.
